How did you meet?
My cousin introduced us.  The first time we met was at the Powerline ATV trail in Ohio.

Tell us about the proposal…
I opened all of my gifts on Christmas morning 2017……or so I thought.  Tyler said there was one more and when I came in to get it, he was down on one knee.

What inspired the vision you had for your big day?
As charming as I think the country, rustic theme is, I have always thought of my day as being traditional and elegant.  Something with a Country Club feel, but somewhere more unique.

What made you choose the Art Center as your venue?
The Art Center was the first and last place we visited while trying to choose a location for the reception.  The ballroom is gorgeous!  It is also a perfect location with several nearby churches and hotels.  It really is a hidden gem.

What other vendors did you choose and can you tell us a little about your experiences?

The Village Cakery – Cindy’s cakes are delicious and beautiful.

Makeup by Meridith – Loved the makeup!  Everyone looked awesome.

Chelsea from The Hair Hippie – Everyone’s hair looked amazing and held all day (and night).

Michelle Waters Photography – Michelle is so much fun to work with and we love our pictures.

Crown Florals – The flowers were gorgeous – they looked better than I could’ve envisioned and Michelle we great to work with..

Premier Productions – Mike was great.  He was very easy to work with and we had an awesome time.  Especially ending the night with Country Roads!

Valley Catering – Terri Page and her staff are amazing.  They go above and beyond and when she says there’s nothing to worry about, she is right.  The food was fabulous – we are still getting comments.  Also, she provides the dinnerware/silverware – with most others, you would need to rent.

What is your favorite memory of your wedding day?
I don’t really have one favorite memory.  My father made it down the aisle without becoming an emotional wreck, the food was fabulous, the flowers were gorgeous, the venue was beautiful, the weather was perfect and all of our family and friends were with us to celebrate.  It was a perfect day.

Any last bits of advice?
Listen to Lyndsay and rent!  There are some things I would recommend buying just because of the limitations in color options (napkins, chair sashes and some tablecloths).  White tablecloths and chair covers as well as glassware – I would recommend renting.  Not only do you save yourself a lot of time ironing and transporting, you don’t have to store it!  Anyone need 170 plum chair sashes and napkins. Also, the time will fly by.  Think about photos you would like to have beforehand and plan ahead.  There is a wall of frames and mirrors that is great for a “photo booth”. We also wish we had taken pictures or requested pictures of the food – both the cocktail hour and dinner buffets.  It was all very beautiful.
