Arty Parties: Saturdays, January 3rd - March 7th, 10am - 12 pm
Arty Parties are FREE community events for children (accompanied by a parent or guardian) on Saturday mornings from January 3 through March 7, culminating with ArtORama on March 14. Arrive anytime between 10 and 11:15 a.m. so you have plenty of time to enjoy the project. Doors stay open until noon. Each Saturday features new arts and crafts materials. Projects are designed for ages 4–10 and are open-ended, giving kids the freedom to make choices, explore, and express themselves.
Families must register online or by emailing info@parkersburgartcenter.org. Group sizes are limited so we can provide ample supplies and space for creation.
Funding support has been provided by the Virginia L. Neptune Foundation and many thoughtful community donors.
Classic Plastics Toy Expo: March 7th & 8th
Classic Plastic Toys are back with their annual toy and pop culture expo at the Art Center. Two full days of toys and events! Saturday, March 7th is from 10am-4pm and Sunday, March 8th is from 11am-4pm.
$5 entry, 10 and under are free.

Art-O-Rama: Saturday, March 14th, 10 am - 1 pm
Art-O-Rama is a free community arts day for kids and their families featuring hands-on make-and-take craft stations. PAC and other arts and natural resource groups offer fun and varied activities for kids and families.
Volunteers engage young artists in lots of fun interactive creation stations, plus music, demos by area woodcarvers, live performances, and much more!

YART Sale: Saturday, March 14th, 10 am - 2 pm
Preview for members only on Friday, March 13th from 5-7 pm. Open to the public on Saturday, March 14th from 10 am - 2 pm.
Missing yard sale season? Wait no longer! We have been collecting all sorts of good stuff for the past year and it is time to clear out! We have art supplies, frames, fabric, home décor, Christmas stuff, toys, ribbons, china, glassware, art and so much more!! All priced to go to good homes...and did we mention art supplies?
This is the same day as ArtOrama so bring the kids and do some make and take crafting with them on the first floor then bring the gang up to the Ballroom to shop!
Private Painting and Pottery Parties
The Parkersburg Art Center offers private painting or pottery parties. These are perfect for team building, a staff retreat, gatherings with friends, celebratory events, and birthdays. With a minimum of five participants, we can bring your creative event to life—just email info@parkersburgartcenter.org with your request. Please start making those plans AT LEAST three weeks in advance so we can schedule an instructor!
