Join Virginia Killian on Blennerhassett Island for a plein aire art session!  We will draw and paint the textures, and images of found natural objects. The Instructor will meet you at the Point for the 10 a.m. ferry...approximately 1 1/2- 2 hour class.  Stay and play on the island after. The cost of your boat ticket is included in your price. Last day to sign up is the day before the class by 3 pm. Please bring any food, drink, snacks or lunch that you would like!

Project description: Students will create a decorative feather from stained glass. This will be a lesson that provides a brief introduction to the hobby of stained glass, including all of the basic steps to familiarize students with this craft. The workshop will include cutting glass, working with a pattern, using copper foil and solder, and finishing the project in order to hang the feather as a suncatcher.  (Depending on the student they may be able to complete 2 feathers)
