Teens and adults can join Belinda Armstrong in this 3 hour workshop in shaping supple reed into sculpture with the help of corrugate connectors. Commonly used for functional items, in the hands of fine artists, reed can be formed into highly innovative fiber sculpture.
Belinda B. Armstrong is a retired art educator with 25 years of teaching experience now focused on her studio practice full time. She has had several solo exhibitions and has participated in a number of juried shows locally and internationally. In the summer of 2024, Belinda completed First Stop Terrapin Park, circa 1913, a mural for the Parkersburg Floodwall Mural Project.
