The Clay Studio

Our Purpose : to educate the Greater Parkersburg Area and surrounding communities about the whimsical world of clay!

PAC's Clay Studio is safe, efficient, and an inspirational place where everyone can explore potting skills such as wheel-throwing, hand-building or sculpting....and all at a very affordable price. We want to make clay available to potters of all ages and experience levels.

Whether you are new to the clay arts or a retired teacher with years of clay experience, this is the place for you.  We have all the equipment—wheels, slab roller, wedging table, pug mill and extruder—as well as many choices of high/low fire glazes.... everything you'll need to build a success!

Check out the cornucopia of classes, for adults, young people, and multi-generational classes.  Try your hand at the wheel, or take your time on a hand-built project. We also offer clay birthday parties for kids and FineTime artful clay parties for grown-ups.

Are you hooked? Then ask about our Open Studio membership program. Find The Clay studio at the Parkersburg Art Center on Facebook!

Our doors are open during PAC business hours, and many evenings, too. If you've ever wanted to try pottery, this is the place to be!
