Camp Creativity: Summer
Camp Creativity provides campers with a variety of visual arts experiences. They explore art mediums, techniques, styles and learn about the work of famous, and not-so-famous, artists. Camp Creativity 2018 was made possible by help from our scholarship sponsor Henry Logan Children's Home Foundation. Camp weeks for ages 4 through adult run June through August. Look for more info and dates in March 2019.
Give Local MOV: May 1
Give Local MOV is a 24-hour online fundraiser organized by the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation and Regional Affiliates (PACF). As part of the national Give Local America movement, you can make a difference here in the Mid-Ohio Valley on May 1 with a donation to The Parkersburg Art Center. We cannot thank you enough for your kind and generous donations during the Give Local MOV campaign 2018! We raised enough to keep our current Art-In-Schools and Art-After-Schools programs running for another year and may look into adding an additional location!! 260+ children are applauding your generosity.

Join us for Art-O-Rama, our FREE Community Arts Day, in March. Hands-on art activities, dance demos, musicians, pottery demonstrations, drumming, science, drama, and concessions. We also raffle a free week of Camp Creativity and offer camp registration discounts. Fun for the entire family!

Yart Sale: February
Shop with us at our annual YART Sale in February. If you can hang it, display it, make a craft project out of it, wrap something in it, decorate with it....it's YART! Tons of arts and craft supplies, gently used artwork, decorating items for not a lot of money.
If you are downsizing or de-cluttering consider donating to the Art Center at any time of the year. You get your space back, the Art Center makes money! We will take artwork, craft materials, picture frames, wrapping paper, fake flowers, holiday decorations, art/design books, figurines, small tools and small furniture items. We can even pick up, just call us. We can not take large furniture or appliances, computers, printers, glass and china housewares.
Youth Art Month: February
The Parkersburg Art Center hosted the 2018 Youth Art Month in February 2018. This 2-D and 3-D exhibit featured the artwork of elementary, middle school, and high school students from across the state of West Virginia.
Holiday Open House/Artist Market: Small Business Saturday
Come out and support the Parkersburg Art Center on Small Business Saturday. Shop Small, Shop Local!
Free Admission, hot drinks and sweets all day. Come out and shop great deals in our Zocolo Gift Shop and Frame-Zilla Framery. Purchase merchandise from local artists and enjoy the holiday trees and decorations on display.
6x6 Show and Sale: November
Where can you find thousands of 6x6 inch art pieces all for sale for only $20 each?...our 6x6 show and sale! Thanks to all the local artists that donated 6x6 art pieces, this event will be returning. Be thinking about Christmas gifts, stocking stuffers, and gift exchanges, but mainly, start or enlarge an original art collection for you or a loved one! The artwork is fabulous and the support for our fundraiser has been truly amazing!
Annual Halloween party sponsored by the PAC Pals. Come in costume to dance and celebrate among nightmarish decor. Costume contests, food, drink, DJ and other surprises await! Must be 21 to attend.

German style arts fair held in the 700 block of Market Street. Live music, fine arts, vendors, food, and craft beers. The first ever Artoberfest in 2017 was a success! Looking forward to doing it all again.
